Matt has been involved in the financial services industry since 2005. Before transitioning to a financial advisor, he was the marketing coordinator for Savant, where his responsibilities included coordination of all advertising and sponsorship opportunities, database/prospect management, market research, and overseeing Savant’s marketing and communications projects.
Matt earned a bachelor of arts degree in business administration with an emphasis in marketing from Augsburg University in Minneapolis, MN. He is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional, an Accredited Investment Fiduciary® (AIF®), and a Chartered Retirement Plans SpecialistSM (CRPS®).
Matt sits on Midway Village Museum’s board of directors, serving as the Nominating Committee Chair, and is an active member of the Rockford Cosmopolitan Service Club. In 2010, he received the Cosmopolitan International President of the Year Award and was recognized by the Rockford Chamber of Commerce as one of their “40 Leaders Under 40.” Matt is a graduate of Leadership Rockford and the Rockford Leadership Alliance. Since 2015, Matt has served as the Race Director of Midway Village Museum’s annual Trick or Trot 5K Family Run and Walk.
Matt, his wife Natalie, and their two children, Lily and Harrison, live in South Beloit, IL. He was born and raised in the Rockford area and enjoys sports, history, grilling, and spending time outdoors. He was a college golfer and takes pleasure in playing golf whenever he has spare time.
